Monks and travel on the Mekong river 🚤

We got up early to watch the monks come for the alms. They walk passed the guesthouse early like 6am. They chant prayers after receiving some rice.🍚 The ladies are sitting there and give rice to each monk. People do this every day. It was pretty cool to watch. The dogs follow as they also want food.🐕🐈

There were many monks. Some are really young. Mister Phone who owns the guesthouse said they come from poor families. 😔

Then we went to the Mekong river.This is the boat that we went on to go to the Pak Ou caves.👽
