My parents like to walk a lot. We walked today (6.4 km). We crossed another bridge it was higher with wooden planks on the side for people to walk. It was high and wobbly because some planks moved. I was pretty scared because it was very very very high.π°π±I prefer the bamboo bridge.ππ
We walked and went to see more temples. Zoe made a friend and played football.⚽️ Nim did some gymnastics.
We saw a pussy cat. It was so cute! I want to bring him home. Here is the cat we saw called Lucky (my sister named the catπ±)
The wat is where the monks pray.π
The inside has paintings. Some tell stories of Buddha. You have to take your shoes off to go inside the temple.
The wat's doors are beautiful. This is one of them. They are bright golden and often have other colors in them.
My mom was looking for a banana pancake place for lunch (she loves themπ) We got lost but then we found the restaurant but it only serves guests. We were very disappointed. We walked a bit more and found this other cool restaurant. Lots of ponds with water lilies. It was Manda de Laos. Food was delicious. Lemon grass BBQ chicken. Lime juice (or lime shake). The best drink ever!
The best drink ever!π½π½
The restaurant also had a small rice paddy. My favorite part of the day was being at that amazing restaurant and looking looking at all the water lilies.
We walked back to the guesthouse. It was a great day.
That sounds like an amazing day. The water lilies are so beautiful and that drink is making me thirsty.

ReplyDeleteCool. We all cycled across that bridge even though it was super bumpy and the track was very narrow. Julie was very nervous indeed going across!
