Monks and travel on the Mekong river 🚀

We got up early to watch the monks come for the alms. They walk passed the guesthouse early like 6am. They chant prayers after receiving some rice.🍚 The ladies are sitting there and give rice to each monk. People do this every day. It was pretty cool to watch. The dogs follow as they also want food.πŸ•πŸˆ

There were many monks. Some are really young. Mister Phone who owns the guesthouse said they come from poor families. πŸ˜”

Then we went to the Mekong river. This is the boat that we went on to go to the Pak Ou caves.πŸ‘½

This is how it looks like in the boat. This is also my crazy family.πŸ™€

  2. Great stuff. We never got to the caves so good to see them from your point of view. Was the boat comfortable?
